I am publishing a new project
THE8TH
Continent
In my experience and comprehensive understanding of the
Internet and the multitude of levels of technical competency that actually
interact with THE8TH I will share the following initially, you will have
to read the project for the rest:
' As we move forward to "harvest the future" It will
become clear that, although; it isn't formally in control of the other seven,
THE8TH should be the overwhelming manner by which we conduct affairs ...
prudently ... in-order to reap a bountiful harvest in our future.
THE8TH Continent will provide a view of the Internet as the
eighth continent of humankind, the first created only by humans and
ultimately providing thru collaboration a socio economic technological [SET]
continent that in less than 40 years has become globally inclusive.
I am very pleased to have my good friend Sandy Huntley provide
a foreword as he ran Ops for the Around the World by car team from Nova Scotia
that set the Guinness world record. There is a book already written about that.

THE8TH will exhibit sarcasm, fun and the odd expletive, I will
release a digital edition eventually, stayed tuned.
BTW TV never became THE8TH because when you yell at the TV it
doesn't yell back. [For the technopeasant [TP] amongst you think blog
commenter's.]
Further to that :
The Mobile / Wireless marketplace will dominate the IT sector globally for the
next generation. Ubiquity in deployment and the growing number of PANs [personal
area networks] using 2.5 / 3G mobile , WiMAX, WiFI, Bluetooth, NFC [ near field
communication] and soon telematics and the complete explosion of computing
power in the hands of a burgeoning global populace some of whom have been using
the Internet [THE8TH] for a minimum of 8 years will introduce yet another advanced
state of marketplace economic generation. The continuing growth of community
with the Internet [THE8TH]will be the benchmark for forecasting and harvesting the
future economic generation. Pervasive services such as SKYPE and other VOIP
providers will balance the need for communication while delivering new viable
economic strategy for future marketplace sustainability all the while maintaining
a mutual beneficial relationship with the global community of the
Internet [THE8TH].
Increased usage of high
technology previously available to few will be deployed as everyday tools for
those members of this generation who will participate in the global community of
the Internet [THE8TH], a membership that has been growing practically without interruption
since the end of the last century. The future will bring new services and efficiencies
to all, the off-net populace ; which by the way decreases everyday , will
be invited to participate by making future everyday occurrences easily and
readily available via basic tech that results from the current aspect of the
growth of the Internet [THE8TH] and the non
vitual global community participation.
The current
maladies that are very relevant and pose challenges by the thousands on a
daily basis will in some form or another continue to exist. However strength of
the Internet's global community [THE8TH] and new future services will mitigate
these challenges going forward long term.
